Simplified Inventory Tracking

The CS-Cart default capabilities allow the administrator to track the quantity of products or not to track them at all.  If the "Track inventory" setting is disabled, then even a product whose quantity is zero will always be considered in stock in unlimited quantity. Our add-on offers another way to control product inventory.

New Inventory Tracking Algorithm

If the quantity of a product is greater than zero, then such a product is always in stock and its balance does not change.

For example, we have a product of 2 units, 

but the Customer can order this product in any quantity.

 After placing the order, the quantity of the product will remain unchanged.

If the quantity is zero, then the product is out of stock.

Easy setup

The add-on allows you to enable a simplified inventory tracking both for all products and for individual ones.

There are three ways to enable simplified inventory tracking for individual products in bulk.

1. Through mass editing of products

2. Through import of products 

3. By replacing the global inventory tracking setting. For this purpose, the add-on provides a single setting.

When you enable this setting, simplified mode will work on all products that use the inventory tracking mode with the “Global (No)” option.

You can also enable simplified inventory tracking for all products in the store at once, without the ability to disable it for individual products.
