The Profile Types for Users & Vendors add-on allows you to create several profile types for users and vendors. You can configure a set of profile fields for each profile type. Users will see them on registration and checkout pages. Also you can choose a user group to assign users after the registration. For vendors, the availability of vendor plans is configured depending on the type of vendor profile.

Enter the comma separated URLs of the storefronts where this product will be used.
Select the CS-Cart edition on which you will use the add-on.
The update period determines the period of time when you can get access to the new versions of this add-on compatible with the new versions of CS-Cart software released during the chosen period.
To instal the add-on, we will need the FTP access to your server. Please send it along with the order number to sales@cart-power.com once the order is paid.

What Problems Does the Add-on Profile Types for Users & Vendors Solve?

Allows You To Create a Separate Set of Profile Fields for Each Profile Type (Individuals, Legal Entities and Individual Entrepreneurs)

The online stores get more and more orders not only from individuals, but also from legal entities and individual entrepreneurs. It is clear that data required for processing the order and providing related documentation differs for the individuals and legal entities. The same situation is with the vendor registration in the Multi-Vendor edition. The default CS-Cart functionality allows you to configure only 1 set of profile fields for all users without exception. The Profile Types for Users & Vendors add-on solves this problem by allowing you to create a separate set of profile fields for each user and vendor profile type.

Simplifies the Registration and Ordering Process

On the registration and checkout pages your users will see a list of profile types to choose from. Once selected you fill in only those fields that are configured for his profile. Nothing extra.

You get all the required information for processing an order and issuing related documentation immediately, no need to waste time on unnecessary communication.

Checkout with a Different Profile Type

Sometimes a client registered in your store as an individual entrepreneur wants to place an order as a regular user. No problem at all. When placing an order, you can select an appropriate profile type and place an order. Profile type data will be written only to this order, without overriding the data in the registered profile.

Filter by Vendor Profile Type

The customer wants to purchase products only from a legal entity - for example, he can provide him with a complete set of documentation, and an individual entrepreneur can’t. A filter by vendor profile type will save the user’s time searching for a suitable store.
